Jolyne Sanjak

Founder and Executive Director, Land Alliance, Inc. and Chief Program Officer, Landsea

Jolyne Sanjak is an agricultural economist with specialization in development economics currently working as the Senior Director of Land Tenure and Property Rights at Tetra Tech ARD. She has more than 25 years of technical and managerial experience relating economic development with technical expertise in areas including rural and urban land governance, as well as with rural livelihoods and agricultural development. Dr. Sanjak is a founder and the Executive Director of Land Alliance, Inc., a new not-for-profit organization engaged in supporting land-based development around the globe. The Land Alliance focus is on delivery of effective access to land rights. Dr. Sanjak serves on the Board of Directors of the BASIS Assets and Market Access Collaborative Research Support Program, a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) initiative housed within the Department of Agriculture and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis. Prior to the Land Alliance, Dr. Sanjak was a senior executive with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and before that, worked for USAID.
