As of 2023, the National Fuel Gas Midstream Company Assets became the first midstream site globally to achieve EO100™ Certification.

Expand Energy Corporation, Expand Energy Corporation, Marcellus
The Expand Energy Corporation, Marcellus site in Pennsylvania is certified under the EO100™ Standard for Responsible Energy Development and the EO100™ Technical Supplement: Onshore Natural Gas and Light Oil Production. Certification was expanded in 2023 to merge the two previously certified sites known as Marcellus Acquired and Marcellus Shale Operations. Following the completion of Chesapeake Energy Corporation’s merger with Southwestern Energy in October 2024, the Certifiable Unit’s name has been updated in reflection of the merged company and pursued recertification in 2025 will formally reflect this name change in future reports.
ARC Resources Ltd., Ante Creek Assets
The Ante Creek Assets near Valleyview, Alberta, Canada are certified under the EO100™ Standard for Responsible Energy Development and the EO100™ Technical Supplement: Onshore Natural Gas and Light Oil Production.

Following the completion of Chesapeake Energy Corporation’s merger with Southwestern Energy in October 2024, the Certifiable Unit was renamed, and the 2025 assessment will account for the acquired Southwestern Energy assets.

The first site certified under the EO100™ Standard for Responsible Energy Development and the EO100™ Standard Addendum for Shale Oil and Gas Operations is the Kakwa River Project in Alberta, Canada. As of 2022, the Kakwa Asset has renewed its certification under the EO100™ Standard for Responsible Energy Development and the EO100™ Technical Supplement: Onshore Natural Gas and Light Oil Production.
The original certification was issued under the previous standard in November 2019. Certification was re-verified and issued under the latest standard in December 2022.
