The EO100™ Technical Supplement for Natural Gas Gathering/Boosting and Processing is effective February 1, 2022.

Operators seeking certification for purely the gathering/boosting and gas processing segments of the natural gas value chain are assessed against the EO100™ Technical Supplement for Natural Gas Gathering/Boosting and Processing and the overarching EO100™ Standard for Responsible Energy Development.  For operations that also contain production, the EO100™ Technical Supplement for Onshore Natural Gas and Light Oil Production will be applied.  The EO100™ Technical Supplement for Natural Gas Gathering/Boosting and Processing contains a subset of the performance targets contained within the EO100™ Technical Supplement for Onshore Natural Gas and Light Oil Production and does not contain any additional requirements.

This Technical Supplement for Natural Gas Gathering/Boosting and Processing is a subset of the requirements contained within the Technical Supplement for Onshore Natural Gas and Light Oil Production and applies to Operators with only operations within the gathering/boosting and processing segments of the natural gas value chain.  For clarity, the performance target numbering is the same as contained within the broader Technical Supplement.

Operators are expected to implement the EO100™ Standard in full and reference this Technical Supplement to ensure that, for the following environmental, social and governance (ESG) Performance Targets, Certifiable Units meet the intent of the Performance Targets’ applicability to natural gas operations.
