Certification Manager

Clara has over 15 years of international experience in extractive industries’ sustainability, from performance minerals to biomass and, more recently, the jewellery value chain.

During her career, Clara has worked with leading global companies, gaining experience in different voluntary sustainability standards, certifications and guidelines, such as ISO26000, the Sustainable Biomass Program, the Forest Stewardship Council, the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, and the Responsible Jewellery Council. Clara’s work is driven by her passion for stakeholder management, human rights, Indigenous people’s rights, social license to operate, and responsible, ethical, transparent, and sustainable value chains.

Argentinean by birth and Italian by descent, she is based in the United Kingdom. Clara holds a Master’s Degree in CSR and Sustainability, and a certification on Indigenous Peoples’ Rights and Projects from the University of Strathclyde. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
