Trillions of cubic feet of natural gas are now certified with most of those volumes certified by Equitable Origin and MiQ. As momentum for certified gas continues to increase, the vital role of a truly independent standard, by certifiers with no financial interest in the outcome and requiring the use of third-party independent assessment bodies has never been more important.

This event will highlight 1) the how Equitable Origin and MiQ are allied to address all aspects of certification, including both methane intensity and all other aspects of environmental, social, and governance criteria, and 2) How Equitable Origin and MiQ have collaborated on the MiQ registry, a key element of facilitating the grown independent certified gas markets. This alliance reflects standards that are independent, transparent, technology neutral, with an asset level scope, and free from conflicts of interest.
