PETRONAS Canada assets in North East BC certified to EO100™ Standard

Equitable Origin is pleased to announce that in December 2023, PETRONAS Energy Canada Ltd. (“PETRONAS Canada”) assets near Fort St. John, British Columbia, received certification under the Equitable Origin’s EO100™ Standard for onshore natural gas production, for the period of December 2023 to December 2024, as assessed by Assessment Body Impact Resolutions, Ltd.

Equitable Origin approved assessors evaluated PETRONAS Energy Canada’s operations at this site against the EO100™ Standard, which includes 500 indicators drawn from global benchmarks spanning corporate governance and ethics; social impacts, human rights, and community engagement; Indigenous Peoples’ Rights; occupational health & safety and fair labor standards; and environmental impacts, biodiversity, and climate change.
