Equitable Origin is updating the EO100™ Technical Supplement – Onshore Natural Gas Production, a supplement to the overarching EO100™ Standard for Responsible Energy Development.
The following proposed Performance Targets (PTs) are divided into levels 1, 2, and 3. PT1 reflects meeting the industry standard, PT2 represents exceeding the industry standard and PT3 reflects being a leader in the industry. A site needs to commit to meeting all PT1s to achieve certification.
We welcome any feedback you have by the end of August 2021. The performance targets under review can be found here (Performance targets under review). We have proposed changes under Principles 1, 4, and 5 primarily and the survey below targets feedback in the Objectives under these Principles.
You can find the overarching EO100™ Standard for Responsible Energy Development and other current EO100 Standards here for reference. Note that there are many Objectives contained within the overarching EO100TM Standard for Responsible Energy Development that does not have corresponding additional targets contained within the technical supplements under review. The overarching standard does apply in all areas and all sites are assessed against those overarching Objectives.
EO is also seeking feedback on a new EO100TM scoring methodology that is available for comment at the end of the survey.
You will be prompted to provide comments on different Principle Objectives and be given some targeted questions for feedback in key areas. If you do not wish to comment on a section, you can answer “no” and skip to another section.
