Vermilion Energy’s Mica Assets certified to EO100™ Standard

Equitable Origin is pleased to announce that on December 16, 2024, Vermilion Energy Inc. Mica Assets straddling the Alberta and British Columbia provincial border in Canada, in the area known as the Peace River Arch, received certification under the Equitable Origin’s EO100™ Standard for onshore natural gas production, for the period of December 2024 to December 2025, as assessed by Assessment Body Impact Resolutions.

Equitable Origin approved assessors evaluated Vermilion Energy’s operations at this site against the EO100™ Standard, which includes 500 indicators drawn from global benchmarks spanning corporate governance and ethics; social impacts, human rights, and community engagement; Indigenous Peoples’ Rights; occupational health & safety and fair labor standards; and environmental impacts, biodiversity, and climate change.
